I joined just today and thought I'd introduce myself before one of the moderators requests I do so right after composing a lengthy post.

I am looking at getting into the IT industry using my very basic knowledge. I've always had an interest in computing. I can transplant most hardware from pc to pc.

I used to work for a small media company and sort of became the resident "IT professional" due to the fact I was the only person in the office who could spell "IT"!!

I came across this site when looking for information about CERCO. This is the route that seems more attractive due to the fastrack nature. But I have had bad run-in with UK Training so I have become wary about some companies amazing claims. I have read some very useful threads so far and (when I have a bit more time) will investigate a number of the leads some of you guys and gals have suggested.

I am knowledgeable in most microsoft applications and I have taken a course in photoshop. So I'm not too stupid!!!

Sorry about that. In future I will try and attempt to disguise any company I refer to by using sophisticated and complex camouflaging techniques.

So as I was saying.........that KU Trayning company I had a run-in with........

 

To be fair, Dirtytan, we have had occasions in the past where companies take exception to what they have read on here - it's just all about finding the balance between fair comment and censorship, etc. Tricky line, but we've managed so far.
