    Hi All
If I can explain, have built computers etc over the years etc and realise I have no interest whatsoever in hardware, so prefer the software route, and have done a little programming.
Anyway been made redundant and have been offered free training from the welsh React government funding for free.

As I didnt want to do the comptia A+,
Have been offered the N+ and then training on the 2 mcdst exams.
The pre requisite is that I learn the last part of the A+ to do with networking.
this was given to me as ..............
    Networking Windows XP

    •Network Security Models
    •Workgroups (Peer - to - Peer)
    •Domains
    •Network Components
    •TCP/IP
    •IP Addresses
    •The Subnet Mask
    •The Default Gateway
    •Basic TCP/IP Configuration
    •Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
    •Public and Private IP Addresses
    •Domain Name System (DNS)
    •Troubleshooting the TCP/IP Protocol
    •Other TCP/IP Commands and Protocols
    •Accessing Wireless Networks

A friend has, but never used, the mike mayers A+ huge book as he describes it. I take it that this will contain this info.

Therefore - got there in the end -

Anyone know what chapters etc cover this, or is it about the book in several places so to speak.
The course starts in feb, so want to get ready.

    Any info appreciated.

    merry xmas all
    Nick
