Hello all, just joined and looking to get certified.

I have a number of years experience diagnosing and repairing home desktop pcs and laptops but no certs.
I am looking to get certified to join a company as a desktop support technician but not clear on what exams to train for, any pointers appreciated.

Just got the latest A+ course on Udemy, on sale at 12.99, seems pretty basic but a good place to start.

Hi @Boredmonkey, great work finding the Udemy course. I use those myself. What I would say is, great if its easy for you, you will breeze the exam and can go onto the N+. The A+ and N+ are still considered the defacto foundation certs in my opinion that will compliment your on the job experience. Once you've smashed those I think you have a ton of options for more advanced certs but it's important that they match what you're working on and with at the time
