One of the (many) good things about that guide is the CD that comes with it. It has a number of test exams included which are fairly close in style to the real thing.

As an extra - you could look at the Transcender exams - they have a very good reputation.

Another best guide for A+ is your own computer. Look every where inside your Operating system, upgrade or install and uninstall and don't hesitate to open up the case and have a glance at removable parts.
