Hi all,

well seeing as this is my first post on the forum I'd like to say hello to all the regulars. Hopefully as time passes I'll be able to go from asking questions about the various certifications, to being helpful round the place.

Thanks very much for the welcome to the forum.

At the present moment I'm not studying for any certifications, thought I had managed to complete the first to symesters of the CCNA. Unfortunately my late partner, myself, and 2 friends where in a bad car accident in Feburury 2004. I ended up in ICU for a while and had to drop out of the CCNA course, went a bit loopy and am now trying to figure out where to restart.

I've been looking into various courses, certifications etc, but want to go back at some point and restart the CCNA. At the moment I inclined toward the CompTIA A+ certification as a starter.

Sorry to hear the tragic circumstances you've had to deal with, but if your aim is to improve your future by developing some IT skills and certs, then I can guarantee the Guys here will give everything we have to help, and I know you'll be a warm and welcome part of our Community here.
