Thought id give this forum a bash after a recommendation from a friend, and browsing through the many topics looks like some good useful info is dished out here which makes a change!

Im looking for advice, after much deliberation ive decided that i want to work towards a MCDBA, I currently have a HNC in computing and 2yrs experience as a software engineer (VB,SCADA) currently in hardware sales, but miss the challenge of a more technical role and have an unhealthy passion for Data.

I have basic exposure to DB's (access) just looking for a few pointers of where to start which exams etc, as there seems a plethora of options available. Id also be going down the self study route.

All opinions welcomed and considered
