Hi & welcome to CF, why not introduce yourself here and be a part of this community? :)

How about contacting the colleges and Uni's in your area? There is an increasing amount who are now Microsoft, Comptia and Cisco academies.

Not sure what you want the Government to do? Not being harsh, but do you want them to hold your hand? If the learning provider is not on the list of approved providers, then they should call 0845 000 0045 to find out more about registration.

    See here.

its not about them holding my hand its about them doing what their suppose to be doing and that is making it easier for anyone who wants to improve their lives and careers especially after the recession, i have asked for a list of learning providers that support the scheme thats all,

its just a waste of time in phoning them to find out information when they can make life easier for everyone and putting a list of providers who support the scheme, and it will be beneficial for them also as they will be getting paid at the same time

One of the first things you should look at is your English language skills. You write very poorly - if your covering letters and general standard of communication when looking to get into the workforce or move on in your career are that bad, most other candidates will have an advantage over you.

Maybe you should look at enrolling on an English course at your local college before you take out an expensive loan for training that won't be of much benefit to you until you're actually in the IT industry? Never underestimate the importance of effective and high-standard communication skills.

    No offence intended but:

How about this for an idea: stop relying on everyone else to wipe your @rse for you! Once you start 'thinking' for yourself the possiblilties are endless!

Agree with Zeb, your written language skills are terrible! Stop the 'txt' speak because in the end it may cost you a job opportunity!

Don't keep re-applying if you have already been turned down -it will lower your credit rating even further. Seek free (or affordable) financial advice before you do anything else. PDL arent any less lenient than any other form of loans. The only difference is the terms and conditions of the loan is different. It's still the same banks that offer you the loan but you dont start paying them back until the end of your course. So Banks accept that you wont be employed when repayments start. Hence they assess even in greater detail stuff like your past payment history, previous bad debts, work history, income bracket, and wheter you still have a student loan.

Even if you get some feedback on your credit rating, what will you do with it? You already know its poor if you have been declined for a loan. An iFA will tell you how you can bump it up.

I wasn't actually getting at your use of txt speak. I was thinking more about your inability to construct a sentence, use of inappropriate words and misspelling of complicated words. It wasn't meant as a 'dig' either - it was a serious comment. Every single job out there - from first-line support to CEO - requires good communication skills. Like I said, you'd do better to get those sorted before you bother with taking out a loan (getting yourself into debt (or deeper into debt, depending on your current circumstances)) to fund training that will lead to certifications that, without actual experience, are worthless.

    "Crikey...CF is now MSE!"[/I]

Not at all! Its a valid answer to a genuine IT related question! Heres a thought, instead of picking up a beer and posting belittling statements on a Saturday night from the safety of your home like "Enjoy the dole queue pal!", why not practice a little self-restraint? Maybe relax a little, perhaps try socialising! Maybe put your "drums" skill to use, join a band and make friends that way. Just a thought!

Gotta love giving advice to people back in 2005. CF is a veritable time machine these days.

Good luck! most LSC budgets seem to be over spent in most counties, there no or little money left. Help seems to be restricted to 16-18 year olds without a qualification at level 3 or over.

Of course a CDL is different, however, if the interest is paid by the government then it probably comes out the same pot and is currently under the same tight restrictions.

I read a report at the end of last year that said the LSC in places like Berkshire have overspent.
