Just a quick post to say, I just fired up the 22-20's on the PC, my team got a "significant result" in the footie today, the sun's spiltting the sky, I got a nice cold beer, and all is well.

Hmm, im still in pain from oral surgery performed on thursday, my monitor replacement was a dodge and NEC cant replace it till monday so i've been almost three days with no warcraft, Im out of beer and the air conditioner hasnt arrived yet!

definatly glad someones having a good time though, u deserve it mate

If it's any consolation m8, the only cloud in my sky is that during the first half, whilst munching peanuts, a resounding *crack* announced the demise of a filling, and requiring the obvious dental appointment. Been too long since my last, so rather edgy about going.

Still overall a good day though.

HAPPY !!! [part II]...

Well, they gave me a brand new PC at work today - superb !. And the new M77 into Glasgow opened (to the public) on Thursday, shaving a full hour of my travelling time every day...

...and I'm off on holiday for the weekend, so we're off a-visitng to friends in Durham tomorrow.

 

My, aren't we a happy little vegemite today then.

Let's see. Next week, most of the engineers and marketing/sales slaves will be at N+I so it'll be nice and quiet around here. Maybe I'll get some things done without pesky interruptions.

The business is moving to new digs May 9th and May 12th and 13th, our family is moving to a new house. The 14th, I've got to drive 6 hours each way to go pick my son Michael from university and bring him back home. All that and try to get this Novell book pounded out, too.

Improvement over last weekend
Well, NEC decided to fix there mistake which has left me without a fully functioning monitor for over a week, to make up they sent me a brand new 2080UX+ (i had the 2080UX) rather than a refurbished model, the plus is a) its brand new, and b) the + has a 16ms response time not a 25ms response time
my two new 2001FPs from dell should arrive by next friday in time for the LAN party, ill once again be fully kitted out with 3x 20.1" TFTs operating at 1600x1200, booya!
Tomorrow i'm off to cheltenham as my friends turning 21, havnt worked out what to get her yet, but she ensures me baileys and other inhebreating substances will be ok

not sureh ow next week will fare, back to the hospital for another two teeth out, but so far the pains gone

Off i go to slay beasties a plenty in the land of Azeroth
