Bruce I agree with all the others. That question could have been a trap. Most time small family bussinesses depend on loyalty from their workers in good and specially bad times as arr stated. I also agree with her that you must have had some exp in something they need or you would have never got a call. Don't sweat it if you don't get this one. There will be more down the road. And never ever, tell your interviewer what they want to hear to get a job. Always be honest, so you can do the job that you said you could. If they ask about something and you haven't worked in yet, just tell them that is on your list but you just haven't had the oppertunity to do it yet. But you are very interested in that technology. It shows them that you still plan to grow your knowledge and are willing to learn new things, without them being aware you might have been heading in the opisite direction with your training. Like the others I think you did a fine job. Let us know how the rests go.
