As you say Ryan, I will still be looking for where I really want to be, but in the meantime I have kept my promise to myself and my family that I not going to have a period of unemployment since losing my current job.

One bonus right at the end, I pointed my workmate to go speak to them as well - he got the call today, landed the job as well !!!! Means we can share the bulk of the travelling too.

Sorry to hear about your job but I basically would recommend what everyone else is saying. I personally think local papers are good. The Chronicle newspaper in Newcastle has a job supplement every Thursday so maybe your local rag does a similar thing. Worth a look. Good luck with the job hunting...
