You'd be surprised. I've still got an RRAS server at work, though mainly it's used in case our SSL VPN falls over, or as a backdoor for me to get in when all else fails

    Congrats on the pass!

Thanks Zeb, and yeah! makes sense the way you've got setup at work but believe MS are not letting it go easily as an antiquated technology:)

Thanks, next in line is the 70-293 as am currently studying for this now and from what I have studied so far some of it ties in nicely with the 70-291 topics.

I am however, finding poor reviews on the MS 70-293 book as most people say it does not cover enough of IPSEC, clustering, PKI and certificates. I have though ordered the Exam Cram Prep by Michael Schmied and would suppliment this with the MS Wins server 2003 administrator companion book.

Over the weekend and bank holiday just gone I setup my HP ML115 server and installed VMWare ESXi 4.0 as well as 2 Wins 2003 servers on the host as well as VM's and 2 client Wins XP VM's with 2 Wins 2003 Svr Ent Ed, DC controllers in line for lab practices.

    Fingers crossed:)

I sat and passed 293 in March. As far as I can recall, the MS press book did provide just about enough material to cover everything but I did some supplementary learning from some web sites devoted to stuff like certificates and clustering as these are new topics for 293.

Heads-up for the 293 exam: I got 63 questions, about 8 of them were sims. Long exam. Get a good night's sleep the night before, lol

Thanks for the heads up xmojo, as I have ordered a used copy of Windows 2003 server administrator's companion book from Amazon uk. I heard the book is good for studying for the 70-293 exam, well would find out soon enough.
