Just heard back and I didn't get the job.

Was meant to hear back at 11am, but have only just had the call. Apparently it took them that long to decide who was best for the role, so it was very close.

Slightly p***ed off, as it would have been perfect, but hey-ho.

Only feedback I got was that my personality profiling test was slightly off. Great.

Tough m8, but don't sweat it - there'll be other jobs and no doubt other tests.

Some co's really go for all the test stuff and others put no stock in it at all.

Mate if it's any consolation, it took me three interview to get my current job.

The good news is that you are getting the opportunities, stick the CCNA on your CV, can't do any harm with your number of years experience.

Dude, it happens. That just means that there was someone who was slightly better suited for the position. So don't go off all sullen and negative... that attitude won't do you any good, either in the short term or the long term. It's unfortunate that you weren't chosen... but they're not a buncha "cocks" simply for not hiring you.

Nah, I was cool with it. There's stuff happening at work at the moment anyway that could be very beneficial to me, so it's all relative.

I have only had 1 IT related interview and the person thought i was too young. I went to an interview which turned out to be a pyramid scheme which was actually quite intresting to see how things like that work.

Yep. Just finishing off the MS Press book, I'm on the penultimate chapter. I had a week's holiday quite recently, so it stopped me revising for a while.

Everything is sinking in really well so no point hanging around.
