I'm taking my N+ in the morning, after that i will be starting the MCSA/MCSE route!!!

I really want an entry level job now as i feel that getting the MCSE without hands on will be very tough and also you should have hands on applying for MCSE level jobs,

unfortunately not many employers want entry level in fact on the job advert most havein capital letters "MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE" lol

    damn it sucks!!!!

Skimmed through this post and baffled - what types of companies are you aiming at?

    Keep at it...

I never had this trouble and came from the health industry with very poor IT knowledge...

Got around it by doing a basic data entry job to get something non-health-related onto the CV, and then told them how determined I was to get into the industry...had a very peculiar interview wherby the interviewer asked me why I had switched from massage/ aromatherapy to operating a laser for tatoo/ vein/ hair removal.....and now wanted a career in IT...but they still gave me a chance - may have been luck - may have been the fact that I was willing to take a HUGE pay cut to do it, or may have just been the right company.....

Have you been targeting companies direct, or just doing agencies? I found it much easier to aply direct to the company...

What is it that isn't covered in the Meyers tome that you had on your exam by the way? I'm not asking for the questions rather the subject matter.

Congrats on the pass mate. :thumbleft

BTW as a little help you might try calling any company's that have an IT dept if you could have an informational with them. This is where you go to find out more information about them and what they are looking for in a candidate.
