Goals for 2021

    Why Happy New Year to all...

    And it's this time of the year when we list our goals for the upcoming year and say what we achieved last year :)

    Goals for 2021
    For me, my goal for this year is to complete my Masters finally. After starting my Masters studies back in 2012 and changing my track twice [Computing to Tech Management now to Open (Education and Technology)] - I've only got one more module to do.

    Goals completed in 2020
    Completed and gained my Postgraduate Certificate in Online and Distance Education :)

    Not a very long list, but I've had to reduce and be more specific with what I go... So how about you? What are your goals and what have you achieved over the last year?

    Goals for 2021:
    JNCIA-DevOps, and Cisco CCNP (At least 1 of the 2 exams).

    Goals Completed in 2020:
    Full CCNA, Juniper-JNCIA, and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.

    Not a massive list but I think the CCNP is going to take some time.

    I never really know where to start to be honest so did a bit of reading up then came up with this list
    1 - Python - tiny bit of exp with this, just need to sit down and do it really.
    2 - Cloud computing - AWS - we use our VLE in AWS
    3 - Virtualisation - Have a bit of exp with this
    4 - Networking - have a bit on this already
    5 - Rest APIs - a lot of the stuff we use, like our attendance register uses the rest api framework
    Doubt I will get them all done but I think I am looking at the perspective with sort of trying to get a wage rise, well next level up at least and trying to future proof myself, that's if you can do that

    Goals for 2021:
    1. To finish my son's 1st academic year of homeschooling
    2. To finish my SEO Certification Course
    3. To start construction of the proposed house extension.

    Goals completed in 2020:
    1. Started 1st academic year of homeschooling
    2. Started my SEO Course.

    Not so much with my list too. More than these, being Covid-free for my fam is still my ultimate goal.

    YES! It wouldn't be a new year without Ken doing this post!

    Goals for 2021:
    1) Give more time to my IT studies and Certforums est 2003!
    2) Pass my VCAP DCV Deploy to get my VCIX
    3) Focus on my property investing
    4) Keep learning Spanish. I'm up to day 226 on my Duolingo app, if you've not tried it, it's free and totally awesome

    Goals completed in 2020:
    1) VCAP DCV design passed
    2) VCP renewed
    3) Got myself into the Office of the CTO as an Ambassador, wasn't easy!

    That's it for me this year I think. If I can box those four off, I'll have done well this year I think
