Has anyone an idea what the difference is between Symantec Ghost Enterprise, Corporate and Standard editions are? Also where do the versions 7, 8, 9 and 2003 fit in with the respective editions.

    Thanks

They've got different numbers after their names?

Norton is a symantec product line
    Symantec is the company
Norton is the product line (possibly another company bought out by symantec)

Version numbers likely add modern OS support, more features, etc, as with most product upgrades

    Standard Vs Enterprise
Enterprise is likely more powerful, with way more centralised management features, that ends up being what enterprises pay for after all

This just gets more confusing. I have a chance to buy Ghost. 1 is Enterprise, 1 is Corporate and I've seen on Symantec's site that the private/standard version is 9.0.

Nowhere can I find information on Enterprise edition, it always takes me to Corporate info. Is Enterprise ed. an earlier version eg. 7.0, Then changed name to Corporate when the version 8.0 was released? The same goes for Ghost standard. I've seen 2002, 2003 (which I have) and now the new release version 9.0.
