I'm domain administrator, when I set profile and home folder for users in AD, I got the following message,

"the \\DC-1\home\peter home folder was not created because you do not have create access on the server. The user account has been updated with the home folder value but you must create the directory manually after obtaining the required access rights.".

how can i solve the problem? thanks.

    Hi

Check the share permissions on the folder in which the home folder will go, if you are using W2K3 the default share permission is "Everyone - Read" either change that to some other share permission or give Domain Admins explicit full control

    Hi MarkN

I did as what you told but still does not work.I even give full control in the share permission for both everyone and domain admins :(
