So, I am upgraded to 500mb, its amazeballs. One problem, The router provided has a 1 on one out set up, when I put this through a switch that its a gigabit switch, the speed slows to around to 45 mbps, direct from the router I get between 400 to 450 mbps.

Does anyone know of a switch where I can keep the speeds, or do I just carry on with that I have

1 Gbps = 1000 Mbps, surely your switch is rated to double the speed of the ISP router so there is no bottleneck?

What do you mean one in / one out? Its normal to have one cable ethernet kit.

Sounds like your switch isn't a Gigabit switch or you have bad cables?
