Im currently playing Aion (got really bored of WoW and couldn't really progress my character anymore).

Aion is awesome - im only level 14 but already prefer it over WoW.

    www.quakelive.com

Free to play and good fun for all skill levels :)

It's a revamped version of Quake 3 (for any of you who may have played that) and launched through your browser, with friends lists, forums etc.

Worth a shot if you're in the mood for some Death Match FPS action :biggrin

I'll add you this afternoon when I get home from work.

My quakelive nick is 'rax' surprisingly... :p

I'm quite a seasoned player though but mainly in TDM, though I've played enough 1v1 in my time

Call of Duty 4 is a bit....

I played it for a few months, it was alright but the competetive play is rather, if not utterly, boring. It's fun rolling on public though, at least for a little while.

At least it has a big following.

I enjoy COD4, but I was always more of a Unreal Tornament fan as opposed to Quake. But I will qualify that with the First UT.

Well, I was patiently playing the game properly (still only level 2) before I got killed by a nix hound whilst wondering on a task, got frustrated, opened the console, gave myself 20K gold and got trained up to level 10.

*fingers crossed* I should be getting a new PC at the end of the month, so I can try some of the high end games you guys have recommended on my own machine, instead of trying to get time on the other half's PC.

    Scribblenauts.

Got this earlier this week. I'm addicted.

    Believe the hype it's getting.

Scribblenauts is the best game I've played all year. Probably ranks as one of the most original and best games ever made.

I feel I need say no more. :juggle

If you "recruit a friend" to yourself, you get 3x XP (quests and mob kills - get your 80 mate to boost you in an instance like this is $$$$$) by multiboxing AND because you control 2 characters you can do everything a lot quicker.
