Fair point, MacAllan. Of course, particularly in the realm of communication, the only thing people can perceive about us *is* our behavior (sorry for the American spelling).

In the light of the above...

What do you call it when people join a forum, ask a question, then never return? Usually this will be in a support forum, and will have maybe a couple of replies asking for more information which are not responded to.

 

Or what do you call people who ask the same question twice within a one-hour period?

 

Not exactly the same.

I thought the first one needed an edit in the light of the discussion on the thread, but I'm never sure about going back and editing once someone has posted afterwards...

 

I feel this is deviating slightly from the Stated intent on this thread:

It said in the title "undesirables". In my view that could be both people and behaviour. If someone poisons a forum with a lot of spam, that person is a spammer. You do not want spam on your forum, so you don't want spammers. It is not against the person, it is his behaviour that makes him a spammer, flamer and so on.
