    Hello!

There firewall.cx is a great resource to learn networking. The site has existed for many years and access to the lessons or tutorials do not require any registration or fee.

I frequently used the lessons on the site almost 10 years ago when I started by first ever IT job. Since then their website appears to have been updated to include more in-depth articles. The site can be used as a precursor to studying a networking cert or alongside other resources.

    The lessons include:
    1. NETWORK FUNDAMETALS
    2. NETWORK CABLING
    3. THE OSI MODEL
    4. ETHERNET
    5. NETWORK PROTOCOLS
    6. ROUTING
    7. NETWORK ADDRESS TRANSLATION
    8. VLAN NETWORKS
    9. FIREWALLS
    10. WAN TECHNOLOGIES
    Hope that helps!

Note: I am not affiliated with firewall.cx in any way

Should be good to accompany a Network+ course if you're looking to do that soon?
