I was casting my mind back tonight to the days when I got my VIC20 and then progressed through the immortal Commodore range.

Although the 'net has progressed amazingly in the last few years I still remember the days of Compunet (I joined in '85) and CIX (can't remember if I had my account before or after my Compunet one).

Anyone else remember those heady days on a 1200/75 modem ?

I was never lucky enough, my first experiences of things like that was telnet back in 95 or something.
