just wondered what everyones favourite song was and why?

think mine would be "distant sun" by crowded house.
i lived in benidorm for about 8 months when i was 17 and took hardly anything with me but one awesome cd that i played before i went out every night so , kinda sentimental

Now that's a really tricky one...
Depends on your time of life and circumstances. Dire Straits 'Brothers in Arms' has to be my all time favorite album.
My mood changes a lot, but a song that always gives me goosebumps is Massive Attack 'Teardrop'.
If goosebumps are what you look for in a piece of music, I guess that's great.

Oh, and I like REM. And Kate Bush. Oh, and Marc Cohen and his mate Leonard. And Gomez. And Stereophonics.

One thing is for sure, music isn't as good as it used to be.

    Except for GLC.

I love the "bodyguard" so it's Whitney Houston "I will always love you" and another classic Tina Turner "Simply the Best" because my staff use to sing it to me...ahhhh Bless

hmmmm so many to choose from and it mostly depends what mood I'm in, Metallica's One and Blue Oyster Cult's Don't fear the reaper remind me of happy college days. The Cult's Rain reminds me of fun & drunken evenings jumping up and down in a club with good mates. However overall winner has to be Whiskey in the Jar, I love thin Lizzy's version but Metallica's is superb.

Just shoving my head abovethe parapet, I'll go back to my burrow now :D

This is a tough question as there are so many good songs. One that springs to mind is Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. It's just about perfect, with a nice intro, good lyrics, brilliant chord work and a solo to die for. Jimi was and will remain the best guitarist the world will ever see 8)

It really depends on the mood. The first one that really came to mind though was "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. Yes...it's an oldie...but so am I.

As mentioned before, it's mood dependant. But there's a range of all time fav's.

Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls is always a tear jerker. Enter Sandman by Metallica. Sonne by Rammstein. And Neptune by Inme.

My favourite song changes regularly, I listen to the radio a lot in the car so I'm a bit brainwashed by the radio 1 playlistÂ…

Last week it was Gorillaz 'Dare', now it's that new Foo Fighters song and I can't remember what it's called

Like some of the rest of you, it does depend on what mood I'm in or what I'm doing. I really like Led Zeps Stairway to Heaven. Love to listen to Pink Floyd as well, but more than often it's what is on the radio at the time.
