There's no way I'd be able to pick a favorite. I'd have a hard enough time picking my favorite hundred!

...and I don't know who Daphne and Celeste are, so I guess I'm safe. :biggrin

I always vow never to respond to threads like this, but I keep doing it! Reason being it's just too tough to pick a favourite out of every song or piece of music currently ever written.

I always list a (very small) selection of my current and all-time faves so folk can get a general jist of what I am about when it comes to my musical tastes. So err...here's a few of them (in no order of preference).

Well it's impossible to name just one (they change)...but, in no particular order, these have always been at the 'top of the list' for me:

    Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sYBDmVCiUF8&feature=related
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers: ‘Soul to Squeeze’: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2tjM7v7VOpU
Groove Armada: ‘At the river’ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7KyPpHuIXZo
MCcoys: ‘Hang on Sloopy’: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kubb6o9szZY (Had never seen that vid before – it’s really funny lol)
Solu Music Feat: KimBlee Fade: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RzATtrjM0VQ
The Drifters: ‘Under the Board Walk’ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EGBNPtFSC4M

I'm disappointed nobody has listed St Winifred's School Choir with their monster 1980 chart hit 'Grandma We Love You'.

Better still, you can't beat a bit of Claire & Friends with their smash hit of 1986 'It's 'Orrible Being In Love When Your Eight An Half'

Even more awesomererer still! How about a nice belt of Su Pollard with 'Starting Together' to soothe the old eardrums at Christmas!

BUT WAIT! I'm not done yet! To finish on a high note (just had to edit my post to note that the pun actually was not intended but hurrah for subliminal punnage!), I'll leave you with chart-topping favourite 'Eye Level' by the Simon Park Orchestra!

I did'nt mind that back in the day when it was in the charts...but then I was aged 5, and looked up to her - she was a 'big girl'! Makes you cringe now though!

    Just for you Leehaa!

From what I gather that song made it's debut on Saturday Superstore (which alas I am old enough to remember). For many years though I thought it was on Going Live first.

Thankfully I am not ancient enough to remember Swap Shop. Does anyone remember 'Get Fresh' or 'Ghost Train'? I remember those shows came to us a couple of times when I were a nipper!

As an OT side note, if anyone remembers The Big Breakfast when Mark Lamarr used to do the thing where he'd turn up at your house one morning, my mate was on that once so we all biked to his on the way to school for a look in! I seem to have strayed somewhat, but I'm glad I've told you all now... :biggrin

Why thank you! Ner...just too cringe-worthy when you're an adult!

Can kind of remember Mark Lamarr - though very fuzzy - bet that was a laugh :) ...

... when Denise and Johnny presented The Big Breakfast it was fantastic!! They were such a stunning pair but funny too! Denise is still stunning now - she's one of those people who was a bit cheeky but didn't let fame go to her head!
