Hi all

Sat and failed the VCAP 3v0-624 6.5 Design exam by a few points today. I’m at a conference in Las Vegas so I thought I’d try my luck.

I followed the blueprint and have been studying for this for a good few weeks, but I didn’t get around to sitting the Design course that prepares you so I think this contributed to my downfall on this one.

It was my first VCAP exam and I can’t say too much about the questions, but it was clear I’m weak in a few areas. I’ll post what I’ll do about it but I thought I’d share and say I’ll put back in for it in a few weeks. As long as learn from it I am good

Sorry to hear that you didn't pass... The silver-lining is that you've learned where your weakness are so that you can improve... Let us know how you get on with the exam next time (I know you'll smash it bro)

Thanks Sparky. I'm at the VMware world wide kick off. This morning we had James Corden entertaining us. I went to an EMEA meeting this afternoon and they had a superb Queen tribute act on. The lead singer did some of the vocals for the Oscar winning Bohemian Rhapsody movie no less. And tonight we're getting taken to watch Imagine dragons... Adore working here I really do!

Had a great time in Vegas when I was there “working” – so much more than just the Casinos.

 

Work has been really busy lately but after over a year, I passed my VCAP DCV Design 2020 on the 27th of August woo hoo. I’ll put a proper post up over the weekend on the resources I used but just wanted to do a quick post here as it’s easy to give up when an exam is hard and you’re busy. Got there in the end
