Lol, I think GG was a PCWorld job from memory.

It's a real shame when stuff like this happens as it gives a bad name to the independent sector that's laready struggling to combat the likes of Dell etc.

The so-called professional body is more of a trade association tbh - I looked at it a few times but decided against joining it (for my previous business).

 

Yeah GG went to PC World with his comp.

No comment on what that shop did, it would be too rude for me to post.

This is why, when I send a laptop off for a warranty repair I always take a ghost image of the hard drive and then run nuker on the laptop. Restore from factory DVD then send off.
