I will be writing my MCDST exams soon and the area of permissions really confuses me.
    I get confused between:
    • Share permissions (Full control, Read and Change),
    • NTFS permissions (six - Full control, Modift, Read & Execute, List Folder contents, Read, Write) and
    • File encryption Permissions.

How can i distriguish easily between the permissions that are in place on files and folders?
Is there a simple way of telling such permissions apart?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hiya, Im in a similar situation, I suggest running 2 virtual xp pro OS and playing with the share permissons and ntfs permissions then re-read the chapter as once its put into practice its much easier to understand. Administrators have full control which includes, modify, read, read and execute.
