Chaps, I have a very strange issue which has only just come to light.

Essentially, a clients internal domain is netlab.co.uk and externally they use network.com

We checked this clients Exchange 2003 environment and they are authorative for network.com so we figured everything was OK.

We went to purchase a SAN SSL certificate and it came back stating netlab.co.uk is registered to someone else and a bit more digging around the company holding the domain name is a bit dodgy and has been done by Nominet on a couple of occasions.

We are not in a position to create a new domain called netlab.local as this is not feasible due to the size and nature of the business.

The question is are we able to return an internal CA for netlab.co.uk and the autodiscover services for this and then use our external network.com with a Trusted SAN SSL?

Any other ideas or suggestions welcome.
