Exchange 2007 Question

In Exchange 2003 when you create an SMTP Connector you can apply a Delivery Restriction so only certain Users/Groups can use it.

How do you do this in Exchange 2007?

I have googled it and even though I put 2007 in the search I get 2000 and 2003 hits! I'm pretty sure you have to create a rule of some sort.

Any help appreciated.

Managed to find a qoute from our friends at Expert Exchange

Found a work around, as a client wanted to send out 100,000 emails per month and would have been blacklisted.

The client paid for an account with AuthSMTP, we then made a new User in Exchange 2007. Configured a nwe Mailbox to use POP3 to send via AuthSMTP and recieve via the Exchange 2007 box.

Works like a treat!

Would have been easier to have created a new SMTP connector to and then choose Delivery Restrictions so only one account could send via this.

A bit more configuration, but hey, this 3rd Line lark is good fun
