    Hi

Just re-read chapter 3 of Mike Meyers which details concepts and workings of CPU's. All this has stuck quite well but the remainder of the chapter basically details spec lists for all the Intel and AMD processers and as you'll know there's quite a few.

Is it really necessary for me to know the full spec details of each CPU or will my understanding of how they operate and whats been progressively added or improved to them be enough?

If I do need to know the spec's would related questions appear in the essentials exam or the technician exam or both?

Let me know if you know folks!

    cheers
