I cant imagine that being the case across the states tbh, Office managers I know are usually pulling 40 - 60k USD and the techs i know in the same league are pulling 80 - 120k

I guess it all depends on the experiance
congress has increased the H1B program YET AGAIN whilst many american techs our out of work, bringing a large influx of cheap labor lowering the mean for tech workers, but the higher end still generally pays pretty well, bottom tier is still way over subscribed, and hence doesnt demand any significant pay anymore

atleast that was my experiance last yet
things may of changed, although I think congress are thinking of increasing the H1Bs yet again, its great when corporations decide how things get done in a country, good old lobbyists ;)

You must know some high level CCIEs then, since most folks with the basic A+, Network+, MSCE, CCNA are getting entry level jobs for about a dollar or two above minimum wage...

And you are sooooo right about the country being run by the big corporations!
