Where can I get the slick Windows 1.0 skin ? This Aero runs like a dog...

Or even better a workbench skin, now there was a proper OS, unlike Windows it was usable in 1985, windows took another five years before they released a decent version...

Also lets not forget OpenStep and BeOS, still few more years and M$ will iron out the wrinkles ! :biggrin

Thanks Leehaa I missed that the first time around :biggrin

Oh how I miss the days when all PC's had DOS running on them as a separate entity.

Windows/386 2.11 was the first version that was more than just a DOS task switcher. I still have my copy around here somewhere... I remember buying Excel 1.0 shortly afterwards too.

Whilst going through some old hard drives I found archive copies of Windows 1.1 upwards.. MS-DOS & PC-DOS (all versions) and even OS/2.. just in case I ever have to reinstall windows on a very old machine...
