Don't know if this should be in the Just for laughs section or not so I will let you decide.

Remember the guy who fixed my car, well, he called me to ask if i could call round as he had a few small problems on his machine, so off i went. After a short time i realised that this machine was full of spyware so installed adaware and ran it, it found about 130 odd pieces that i quickly removed and instructed them to run it every couple of days, After digging around for a little while longer i noticed that there was still some dodgy s/ware installed (such as searchbars etc that adaware had not spotted or had reinstalled themselves). So bearing in mind that i had the bloke on my left, his wife to my right there oldest son (16) looking over my left shoulder and another child had just left the room when all of a sudden an IE window popped up FULL of Porn , showing various karma sutra positions and the like that even the most supple person would have difficulty in performing (some where even animated). Well.......what do you do????........Both Men and Women spattered on you screen along with variuo body parts...........What do you say???.........

RED faces all round and a quick change of subject........after of course a chorus of "how did that get on there" from all sides

Porn sites are notorious for putting spyware and other unwanted (?) goodies on your hard drive. I'd probably have found an excuse to pull this guy aside and explain that, if he or anyone in his household wants to visit porn sites, they do so at their (or rather the computer's) own risk and that they'll have it filled to the rim with that junk in no time. It might not hurt to use ad aware, spybot and another spyware killer on the system since just one system may miss something that another system is designed to detect.

I feel sorry for these folks being publically "exposed" so to speak, but they brought it on themselves. I bet the Missus had a few choice words with her husband and maybe son after you left...unless she's into that sort of stuff, too. It happens.

Still, as long as the Guy didn't find your "dodgy" magazines under the seat while he was fixing your car ....... :P
