    It had a 4096 color palette, you would not get that many colours available all at once in a game.

    Only way you would see 4096 colours on an original chipset amiga was with maybe a HAM based splash screen on startup.

    I still agree it was a much better machine than the ST, the ST made a good MIDI controller, but with an addon box for $20 bucks so did the Amiga.

    God I was deprived as a child.... first computer I had access to was my dads Mac II which he used to cart home from the office at weekends. I had to rely on visiting friends houses to get access to anything that was actually fun...
