Hi All

I'm sure as fellow technologists, you'll have seen linkedin and vendors saturating the market with GenAI. I've worked for a few software vendors, VMware do their integration with Nvidia for AI and ServiceNow have Now Assist. I use Now Assist as I get my own instance of the Now Platform, but I won't plug or prefer anyone obviously just to say that I use it when I'm using the platform, I digress.

I have tried using ChatGPT and Gemini in work for various bits and I was swaying towards Chat as it can draw pictures. I've now settled on Gemini as for the same price (the paid for £18 version Advanced) I get 2TB of storage and it very recently got the ability back to draw pictures.

I find it very handy I find, I use it daily to do various things. I can get it to summarise pdfs, find info and links, what ever I need. I'd be lost without it now I think.

Do you use any sort of AI in work or personal for that matter?

Yes, I use both Gemini and Co-Pilot, however I don't use them alone as such. I use them to modify things that I have originally created. Added to that, I do have to fact check it and personalize the output.

 

Oh totally yeah its only as good as what you put into it isn't it, I wouldn't use it to create something for me, I find its great at summariing massive text tho. Glad it's not just me, I use it daily now
