Do you *actually* work in Information Technology?

    I did work in IT until the end of 2007.
    But got offered a job in Logistics which was to good an offer to turn down.
    But still seem to spend time mending pc's or sorting out printer problems & showing others how to use word or excel.
    The IT guy at work likes to call me his (unpaid) assistant!!

    Will i get back into IT, probably, even more so with the company i'm with at the moment, only time will tell!!!!

    I work in IT...it has been my dream to work in IT for years since I first learned about IT and studied it at college (I was 16/17 at the time)...I didnt get my break until about Oct 2006 and I Was over the moon...since then I have been in IT and will hopefully always be in IT for more years to come :biggrin

    I would say that I work in IT my self. Although I find a good 50% of my job is user oriented I still provide technical assitance whether it's in person or over the phone on any computer related issues vary between how do I send this email or help me with this excel issue to my computer does not turn on and I need a replacement.

    Based on that broad a definition, that are just tons of career paths that are IT including journalism and teaching. :wink:
