EMC, HDS, NetApp, VMware, IBM, Sun micro, - no positions at all. Should wait for a quarter a two?

 

Currently been working for one of this companies but in other region, so trying first of all to get job there. Of course I know about job sites, but you know, approaching vendors directly is the best way. If i fail I'll go through job sites

 

Odd, I know some of those vendors have hiring freezes in place, but I still get emails daily from recruiters who want me at one of those vendors.

Hey man, try google Tier1 PBS. Visa is not a problem, mine will be ready in mid January.

 

I thought it was through PBS sponsorship only?

so surely you have to have an employeer or University to sponsor you ?

Sorry mate but you're wrong. Anyone can go through Tier1, no restrictions to an occupation.
It is offtopic here, isnt it? No need of sponsorship and so on

 

Then why did IT companies have to comply with PBS sponsership to bring in non EEA IT workers before November 2008

It is only when you are going under PBS Tier2 scheme. It was called Work Permit before mid this year
