I could hug you Sparky that’s flippin excellent news. Tbh I am skint and I’d gambled (foolishly) on turning a bit of money into a bit more and it backfired. Never know. By December I could be sitting pretty with my litecoin

Ha ha ha he who dares.... in the long run.... doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. I’ve not even checked on good old dogecoin for a while now

One of the reasons I still haven't done anything with it, I am happier leaving money in Bearer Bonds instead, at least I won't lose anything there and it's not costing me anything either (no power / cooling etc).

As much as I like the mighty Dogecoin I'm thinking it won't make us millions :)

If we forget we've got them, in 10 years we might be frantically searching drawers or tips for lost hard drives when they're worth a few grand each ha ha (I also doubt it tho!)

Honestly, I don't want millions from DG. Just enough to pay off the mortgage!

It is working its way back up now though...albeit slowly ha ha

Have you had any luck with them Simon?
I used to have some years ago. May be worth looking at some more.

I haven't because I have only just invested but my parents regularly get small payouts, it's better than nothing and tax free.

Pretty sure you need a team of ex military, a hacker, some sort of drill (black and decker or if you're really flush, dewalt) and a big building with a vault don't you? :spin::D:

I think a lot of countries don't issue bearer bonds anymore as they make money laundering too easy.

I'd love to have some old style bonds, but you are correct they are for Illuminati types.

There are bonds that pay a fixed interest in perpetuity, perpetual bonds, such bonds obtained during times of high interest rates would be very useful now.

There are also bonds redeemable in gold, again bonds over 100 years old will have appreciated quite nicely in gold value.

I know for a fact that one of the US investment banks in Luxembourg have (well at least they did have 12 - 13 years ago) a vault of Bearer Bonds deep down in the depths of the bank, quite scary to think that Jims team of ex military spooks and a hacker could have done a Nakatomi Plaza style attack and made off with 'billions' :D

I think I am going to keep mine for a little bit, see what happens. Mind you, if its anything like my Shares, sod all!

How do you "Withdraw" your coins? I read somewhere that you have to covert it into BitCoin and then withdraw it?
