    Good luck!

Coincidentally, I'll be upgrading my MCDST to MCITP Win7 via the 70-682 upgrade exam in two weeks :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence, although as these are the first Microsoft exams that I've taken, I'm still a bit concerned that the format of some questions will catch me out enough to make the difference between a pass and fail...

    Good luck.

Dont worry about the format. The questions are better laid out than compTIA questions, they are punctuated better and make more sense.

Since some of you have taken the upgrade exam, what was it like? What was different in it then the objectives of the Windows 7, Configuring exam? I'm looking for resources on it but there aren't many.

Good luck mate and just read the questions carefully as some may be the difference between one word whether you answer it right or wrong.

Thanks everyone for the well-wishing messages. And thanks also to the amount of help garnered by just reading through other threads on this forum - all been very helpful.

I'm happy to tell you that I sat my 271 this morning and 272 this afternoon in B'ham and passed both with scores of 933 and 894 respectively 8) :biggrin
    (Just to let anyone who's interested know, I had 45 Q's in 271 and 54 in 272...)

Now for a month's rest and on to Win7 (680 & 685 isn't it to sit the 'Enterprise' DST upgrade 682 exam..?)

The upgrade exam is 682, yes. I'm going to be studying a lot outside of just running Windows 7, since 7 offers us a lot of deployment and remote management tools plus new ways of working (homegroup, workgroup etc) and BitLocker.
