Copying video to DVD

Does anyone know where i could get info on copying a video to DVD ? I have had a search, but keep getting sites offering to do it for a price. I have a couple of videos that are no longer being made and would like to put them on disk.

I am not sure what cables i would need either. Anyone else done it before ?

I dont supose anyone would know where to get a copy of Robby Naish's video R.I.P ? Its the best windsurfing video ever with great music too, but its no longer being made and my copy has nearly been played to death...pants..

Well I'm not sure if you live in the UK at all Angus..(I know a few of us in here dont!!) but if you do try Maplins Electronics (unless of course you have or they're in you're country) but here's the site www.maplins.co.uk I am sure you will find what you are looking for and like most things in life it wont come for free but I doubt they will be expensive.
