TBH I always found that the CompTIA exams were move favoured in the US than the UK, not too many companies demand / recognise it as being something they 'need'

 

The main reason for that is DOD 8570

 

Agreed, I have seen it listed about twice as a “would be advantageous if you had..”. That aside I do think the content of atleast the A+ is good for the new tech to some extent, however alot of it such as memorising pin counts is just daft.

 

Yeah thats been there since day 0, before I got mentored by Simon. Got a job without the A+ though

 

Swear you jinxed me! my boss said ages ago he wanted me to get A+ certified (I asked him to fund my CCENT and he said nope, but you can do the A+), he forgot about it and i didn't mention it, he emailed me yesterday asking if I've booked the exam..

 

What you don't realise is that your boss surfs on CF ;)

Just ask @Rob1234 about finding out that someone at the same company as you posts of CF ;)
