I may get a WiiU for my son for his Birthday, hoping for a price reduction. I'll tell you what though CoD on Wii (the first Wii console) was damn right fun, I was even in a clan, was so much fun playing with the Wii remote. Lol I remember the clan name was Dog Soldiers! we sucked but we had fun, we had a website with a chatroom and everything, rival clans would often come on for banter. Probs most fun I've had on any system was the Wii funnily enough.

Well I was thinking of the wii u as an alternative but with the game Splatoon in mind, i think that looks class.

As for the playing games online, my best times would have been with MW2, just the endless games we would play, the banter etc, you cant beat stuff like that. Obviously these people at the start were randoms that you ended up playing with, i have 10 of them as friends on FB and some numbers etc, thats how decent they are.

 

XBone or PC for me and I don't play COD or BF on the console at all (keyboard and mouse man).

 

MW2 for me was my life at one point lol. Spent hours on gamebattles playing clan matches. I haven't played any BF on a console. I did play bf2 on pc which I liked quite abit. I like clan matches and competition rather than no tatics against the public. I went onto the consoles purely as I felt it made things more even rathee than different spec pcs. I am tempted to get a pc purely for gaming again thouh but will have to see.

 

I had a session tonight of Metro on BF4, love it although not happy that on a couple of the deathmatch maps they have removed ladders

 

I used to play cod2 on pc that was a decent game. Anyone ever play medal of honour allied assault? That game was my life lol would easily do 24 hours non stop playing. I would sell my soul for that to be released again exactly the same but updated graphics. That game would get a mention if i ever up on that tv show this is your life lol.
