Well as the title says... CISCO Cyber Ops attempt 1... And I say attempt 1 as I did the pre test checks (which all came back fine), I booked in, and bammm... No video, at the proctor end... Two internet connections, two laptops, and 45 minutes later of testing and I am no longer able to sit the exam.

Just sent PearsonVue an email explaining what has happened, hopefully they will reschedule the failed exam for me. If they charge a little admin fee, I will take it. If I have to pay for the whole exam again, then I will consider my options. As I got a 58% discount code for getting a high passmark on the Cyber Security course I went on, without that, the exam would cost £280!!! Something that I not willing to pay.

Well I will post any updates I get...

Yeah... If PearsonVue doesn't sort this out, I won't be going for this again... Financially it's more economical to go for the CASP+ (with the academic discount, rather than paying out for this at full price)/

Appreciate costs are going up but £280 is a bit much and always the fear if you fail having to pay again.

Or maybe I’m just getting old! :)

Sorry just seen this, ignore my other message. Nightmare mate, surely not your fault. It is worrying how expensive some of these exams are getting.

Haha, not old, we're just levelling up :D This new generation of IT Pros won't know the exams that are good for life or exam prices under £100 :(

Yeah, got an answer from them now. As "a one time action", they have refunded the exam costs, so I am free to rebook the exam when I'm ready :)
