I eventually made it back to Coventry and picked up the car (no Dawn, they did leave the tyres! ) and got home just after 1am.

It was good to meet you derkit face to face. I was thinking about what you said last night about finding time to study and why do it. Some good advice there, it made me more motivated in what and why and studying the N+

I want to come to one of these meet ups as im sure i owe people in CF a few drinks. Though London maybe a bit out of my way, im sure ill get to the brummie one next time or maybe newcastle.

A good night and I poured AJ out of the car around midnight ...

Sweet Deity ... I can't believe you kids are arguing about whether it was half or full pints ... all I know was that it was a pain to pronounce! (And I wasn't even drinking!)

The half hour on the phone to Ryan was a good laugh too. The lengths some members to go to make a GTG.

 

Yep it was a laugh and good to meet up with you face to face. I can't remember the exact spelling of Arroryn's pint either, something along the lines of superrama? Sounded a bit lke something out Xfactor! LOL!

 

Yep geeks we are - brand name Staropramen, literally meaning “old spring,”

so that drink was called old spring......water?

 

No worries - that's what we're here for

 

It was great to have the chance to speak to so many of you on Saturday
and I'm glad to see that I managed to keep everyone smiling despite my lack of corporeal form

Glad that everyone had a good get together, sounds like the numbers are increasing every time, be nice to get a few new faces in attendance though

A lot of folks asked about a US GTG, the geography is a bit more limiting, myself and Jim live a few miles apart, but our other active Americans hail from about 2000 miles south east of here, a little more of a journey than even Mick could handle!

I'll be sure to let everyone know when I'm heading back to the motherland so we can organize a special event

Glad someone was drinking some quality beer for once
