Looks like a good night out. Glad everyone had fun. How did the Badges go down then? I think I spotted 1 in the picture, so I take it everyone didn't like em

At the second pub (Briar Rose) everybody was wearing them.

If you were responsible for them then they were good!

I was responsible for creating them, But any injury caused must be blamed on the buyer (Simon Graham). I'm not responsible for any injuries. Glad you liked them guys.

They were great, I've still got mine here! We all had them on earlier in the day but most people got changed for the evening and didn't keep them on. Thanks again though for making them.

PS. I think the blue with white writing was the best of the two. :)

Couldn't agree more SimonV. I made up all the white ones for Simon, put them in the envelope, and though, i'll just try the blue ones. They looked awesome so I just shoved them in with the white ones for Simon. I'll have to speak to you at some point about making up another batch for your next meet.

Raffaz manages to forget how the Chocolate Ostridge came about, forget how to pace himself on the drinks, forget to tell Kat and myself he's buggering off, but yet manages to keep hold of the CF badges! Damn, he is loyal!

I see this thread for the first time today so it is a bit late. Sorry.

I have not seen any explanation on the Leffe part so I'll update you on that.
Leffe is a Belgium Trappist, a beer brew by monks. In Belgium there are several breweries like Leffe. They all have a very specific taste, some sweet, some sour, some dark, some light, some brown, some red.
If I say several you ought to think more like hundreds.
To give you just an idea here's a link to a Belgium Beer site. Unfortunately for you it is in Dutch, so most of you wil not be able to read the site.
    http://www.belgische-bieren.be/bieren/alfabetisch.htm
If you need extra info I'll be happy to translate, but not the complete website.

Edit: A quick check on this list shows me that it is not complete by far. I can see at first impression several beers missing.
This list http://users.skynet.be/triplebee/bier/biertjes.html is more complete and gives also an indication to the alcohol amount.

Yep, you could get drunk with just a few glasses.
Special glasses are also used. Most beers have their own glass.
I very special type is KWAK (search in the first link).
This glass has no 'bottum'. It uses a special wooden stand to keep it upright.
