i've ordered the following books. i just was wondering what you guys thought of these books.

    a+ certification study guide, 5/E
    by michael pastore.

    a+ in depth
    by jean andrews.

    mike meyer's network+
    certification passport.

i tried to get mike meyer's a+ passport but it was not available.
anyway what do you guys think of these books.
i thought i should buy updated books for the a+ exam as the book i have is over 2 years old, so it is for the old exam.
also i read in a forum that you had to pay $145.00 for each exam. i thought it was $145.00 for both, could someone put it right for me.

Well put it this way Nigel I have read A+ Complete Study Guide by David Groth. I finished it and am now in the process of booking my exams...except I just found out I can only book them by credit card (so looks like Lou is paying it all as I dont have one) but I went to www.prometric.com and the exams there are £100 each for the Hardware and Software. but read my post I left in the Lounge about Exams and someone has left a post relating to the amount and how to get vouchers for them.
