Some people don't think that the truth we provide is helpful. Sadly, some people think that help consists of people agreeing with them, telling them exactly what they want to hear. These sort of people will be sorely disappointed... first by those of us on here who tell them the truth of how to succeed in IT, and secondly by employers who continue to turn them down because they don't want to listen to the advice.

If they don't want to follow the advice, then that's cool. Perhaps they'll get lucky and prove us wrong.

I'll grant you that. There is, and always will be, and element of whinging. it happens in communities. But it doesnt detract from the core of the community.

There have also been some issues with members' (both new and established) attitudes in the past. However, the OP doesnt really focus on that aspect, so its not relevant. He's talking about the useful information on the site primarily. A sentiment which is utter tripe. Since he has paid nothing for the service (and actually received responses he seems to find satisfactory), why doesnt he just leave if hes not happy?

Side comment - anyone else notice that his avatar is incredibly similar to Natalies?:hhhmmm

 

Doubt they are same person but they do have the same intellect.

 

You intrigued me Fergal so I looked on the members list to see join dates and get any clues, but Natalie isn't on there. Was she banned?

Trolls get bored very quickly when they don't have 2 pages of responses to laugh at the end of their post
remember that and they might all bugger off

 

I am not so sure it is a Troll not in the normal sense, I think its some spanner with no mates and a grudge against CF because we gave him advice he didn't like.

Your correct xNataliex joined on 20th November and the Inspector joined 1st September, so I doubt the Inspector is a school kid as the School year hadn't started then, the kids were stll hanging around street corners getting pissed and chavin about on the 1st September.

 

Hey, I paid trip good money for my open season troll license. However, I do agree with green. If he is a troll he is very baddddd at it.

 

I can't be arsed doing an "Open Post to ..." for anyone with that few posts.
