not necessarily. The Einstein-Rosen bridge (on which the TV series is based) states that (theoretically), every black hole is connected via a tunnel through space-time, to a 'white-hole' in which all the matter and light taken in by the black whole, is spat out.

Its a wormhole, yes, but the statement you quoted is not necessarily incorrect.

 

Steven hawking says that anything that goes into a black hole is slowly released back out as hawking radiation.

This is also explains how a mini black holes would evaporate.

Did Steven hawking include white holes in his theories on black holes? ... i dont remember

 

I Dont believe so, but Hawking is not the definitive on the subject. He has simply put forward theories. Those theories appear to work... at the moment, but that doesnt mean hes right.

Hawking radiation has been proven it can be detected.

I am sure hawking did explain white holes (how they fall into his theories) somewhere I'll have a look when i have time,

got to go back to study

 

perhaps the other member from pair production theory is throw out a white hole.
