CCNA to CCVP

    To get back to the topic. The pre-requistes for the CCVP are the CCNA Voice or CCNA until the24th June 2009. Cisco pre-req's are checked when you have completed all the CCVP exams. Therefore if you only have the CCNA you need to pass all the exams before the 24th June, hence why there has been a surge in demand for training on the Cisco concentrations over the last few weeks as people are doubting they can complete it all in time.

    Maybe you've spoken with Cisco and they've told you if you pass a sinlge exam before June 1 you're good and don't need the CCNA-Voice.

    Problem is this was not the way it was presented to those of us that looked into it when the CCNA-<specializations> were announced. In the material provided at the time made it clear a CCNA-voice cert was required unless the whole CCVP track was completed by the deadline.
