    Hey Guys!!!

    Hope everyone is doing well. Ive not been posting but I have been checking in every now and then to see how everyone is getting on. Picked up a couple of new Certs, completed a few Linked In Learning courses...Oh and we are having a baby!

    3 rounds of failed IVF, one last shot and we are 30 Weeks today! I did plan on having a few more Certifications this year as well as a new job but we started IVF in March and its been a speedy slope of scans, midwife appointments and consultant appointments.

    I hate my job and I think Im the most overpaid glorified Helpdesk Engineer in history, but work is quiet and Im getting paid good money to work from home most of the week and prepare for a baby so I can complain (I do but no-one listens).

    I do plan on being round a lot more. Hope everyone is doing well!

    Regarding the job. The older I get the more I’d be works bin man if it paid me enough money ha ha. I don’t care for titles etc anymore.

    if I didn’t like the job that’s different. Glad you’re doing so well and hope to see you on here. All of you help to keep the old girl running. I appreciate it

    Morning Jim!

    Thanks mate, taken 8 years but yeah, almost there. 27th of December is the due date so loads to sort out before then!

    Totally agree on the job front. My concern at the moment is that with the current work climate, I need to keep upskilling to stay relevant. Everyone at work keeps saying how everything is fine and we wont be laid off, but Im sure the guys at Meta, Amazon etc all thought the same ha ha.

    Ive focused on a few Dev Ops ones to be honest. We have Linked In Learning through work so Ive done a couple of Python courses, AWS Solutions Architect, Linux LPI 1, Docker and looking at Kubernetes, Ansible, and Jenkins.

    Im aiming to do the Python PCEP, AWS Solutions Architect exam and the Linux LPI. I did plan on doing them this year but what with work and the IVF its knocked me off course a bit.

    Yup, first baby mate. Really looking forward to it! Exciting times.
