    Got a busy day ahead of me today. Re wiring 2 rooms and an office as over the holidays we had them renovated. :eek: Whats your plans?

    Sort out the Schools, telephone system, fix a printer and an IMAC (with help), pub lunch, telephone extension in a classroom plus other bits and bobs as they come in.

    We to will have a new language lab to wire up, but we've got to wait for the electrictrians to pull their collective fingures out and do the mains and put the trunking up. :roll:

    Setup some new accounts on the network and in Lotus, install some software, answer phone, drink coffee, have ciggie, drink another coffee, lunch followed by ciggie, coffee

    Unless something crops up I have an easy day today :multi

    Build a new DNS server then joy of joys Document our Login scripts and Group Policies and as Derek says interrupted by a LOT of coffee breaks.

    Ok, the days nearly over (less than an hour to go) and i have completed most of my tasks. Spent ages on the phone trying to sort out whether I can get our phone bill sent in with the extension numbers on it so that the bursar can re-charge bills were he wants to. Done it, and added bonus NO CHARGE either. Also sorted out a way to make mobile calls cheaper as well, but that is in the trial phase at the mo. Did the telephone extension, someone couldn't open JPEG files (sorted), deff pub lunch and other bits and bobs.

    Another normal day really :D

    Got one room fully wired and started the second but had a few small jobs come up so will have to complete the job tomorrow. Got the chocolate teapot to do some IT work today, must be a new years resolution or something :D

    Spent the day successfully (mostly) solving the world's connection problems !!! :D
